THE BIRTH OF XITHI

Xithi Technologies Pvt Ltd was incorporated as per the The Companies Act, 1956, India in 2010 by professionals with a combined experience of 75 years from different business backgrounds due to a need in the software technology space to provide business focused services. We found that most IT service providers decide or are forced to use tools either due to their affiliation as a partner to a software vendor or due to internal team strengths and then try to fit the objective of a customer using these tools.

This is not the case in other industries. What is needed and its purpose is finalized first and what tools are needed to build it exactly as it is needed is decided next.

The internet has become something similar to the California Gold Rush. Everyone wants a piece of the bounty of the huge potential the internet has to offer. Businesses don't want to miss out and there are numerous players who want to make the quick buck from these businesses. Already being part of the business community for the past 20 years, we knew many businessmen who thought the same that just a website would bring them more customers,but only got to delete spam emails from their mail boxes since their websites went live!

Looking at these websites developed few years ago and websites being developed by many website designers even today, we realized that most of the web designers and website development company/s developing these websites were good at their technical and design skills and the tools they have to create them, but had no idea or did not take interest in the customer's business.The end result was that their websites were neither found by customers nor by search engines but became a mere www address on the customer's visiting cards.The very few who were good at these were not cost effective!

We come from various technology and business backgrounds; Management Consulting, Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing, WWW, Marketing, Insurance and Financial Management and understand the fundamental aspect of having a business website: getting more business and enhancing your corporate image which in turn brings more customers. We focus on these key fundamentals and have the business and technical expertise to achieve this objective in a cost effective way to our customers.

The meaning of "Xithi" pronounced as 'kshi-thi' means "Earth" in Sanskrit.
